Salesian Priests and Brothers play a major role in the children´s lives. Like Don Bosco, their role is to teach the children the most important lesson they need to learn in life: to live lives worthy of heaven. The children are told "You´ve got one soul, you save it, everything is alright." In the midst of their daily concerns as they study, perform their chores, and play, they are reminded of the value of prayer, brotherly love, and kindness.
Currently, there are two Salesian priests residing with the children. With Fr. Rocky, the President and Project Director, is Fr. Antonio "Beng-Beng" Molavin. Fr. Beng-Beng, who was formerly Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Parish and Rector of the Salesian Community in Santa Cruz, Laguna, is the Spiritual Director of Tuloy. He is in charge of the spiritual and moral formation of the children and caregivers; this includes regular confessions, masses, recollections, and retreats. Fr. Beng-Beng also organizes various activities including games, competitions, programs, and clubs. Every weekends, Salesian Brothers from the Theologate in Don Bosco Parañaque are assigned help manage the children in their activities.
Aside from organizing and overseeing events and activities for the kids, the Priests and Brothers play a major role as signifant adults in the lives of the children, being role models who are always ready to help them with their difficulties and concerns. They can be seen playing basketball, chess, and even performing community work like gardening with the children. Being with these former street kids also means laughing and playing with them, learning about the things they care about, celebrating their triumphs, and comforting them in their anxieties and sorrows.
